Candlemas Fair[edit]

The Spanish Wikipedia at es:Cultura de Valle de la Pascua says 15,000 attended at 1939-1940 fair, without citation. IP editor 190.77.43.172 changed it to 80,000 without citation; this does not seem reasonable given the population of the area at the time. --Bejnar (talk) 01:08, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Population[edit]

The Spanish Wikipedia at es:Valle de la Pascua#Contexto geográfico says that the population is 110,000 without citation or date. MiPunto.com gives 70,000 for the population. IP editor 190.77.43.172 changed it to 205,658 (est. 2008) indicating an 8% annual rate of increase, at least as I interpret the entry "Poputation: (205.658 people 2008) 8% anual". That regresses to about 110,000 in 2000. However 8% annual population increases are very rare, and even rarer over a period of eight years. --Bejnar (talk) 01:08, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File:Escudo la pascua.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion[edit]

An image used in this article, File:Escudo la pascua.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

To take part in any discussion, or to review a more detailed deletion rationale please visit the relevant image page (File:Escudo la pascua.jpg)

Why not to use Spanish Wikipedia entry[edit]

I removed the "expand from Spanish Wikipedia" tag, as the Spanish article has serious problems, specifically with lack of verification in reliable sources. It is also tagged for failure to conform with other Wikipedia guidelines. --Bejnar (talk) 17:29, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
