Merge with Vision Service Plan[edit]

Just noticed that both this article and Vision Service Plan exist, and thus should be merged together. It's not obvious to me which article has the better title. -- Hawaiian717 (talk) 05:49, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I'm going to begin today with the merger. I will use this article as the base and merge details from the other article into this. I will also rename the page VSP Global as it better fits the company's actual name. Will update infobox as needed and add required categories. Please avoid editing until marked as complete. Thanks! Not For Profit?[edit]

Can someone provide a citation for VSP's status as a not-for-profit company? Their main website does not state that anywhere I could find, and it certainly does not seem like it is registered as a non-profit organization anywhere. 2602:306:3885:3270:D556:1A46:42DB:38B7 (talk) 01:22, 9 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That's because as of 2003, it doesn't. It was revoked by the IRS because it failed to meet the NFP rules dues to its "exclusionary practices," mainly requiring membership to get the eye care benefits.

Who owns it? How does it govern itself?[edit]
