Uzoagba township is an Autonomous Community in Ikeduru Local Government Area in Imo State Nigeria. It has Twelve villages namely: (Umuonyiri, Umuagwu, Umueze, Umuomi, Amambaa, Umuehihie, Umualumaku, Nduhuobokwe, Umumkpee, Umueziogwu, Umueme, Abo.) Uzoagba has a population of about 10,000 people. The current traditional ruler of this ancient kingdom is Eze Eng. Frankly Akakuru-Dabrinze IV coronated on December 29, 2017. The community boasts of many established and accomplished indigens that include doctors, lawyers, teachers, traders, businessmen, businesswomen viable progressive youths. They are 99.99% christians with catholics in the majority. The big catholic church is St. Josephs catholic parish church very near to the big market called Afor Uzoagba. There are many primary schools located in the different villages with two secondary schools, Uzoagba Girls Secondary School and Uzoagba Secondary school a coed institution. The latest impressive progress in the community is the work of Uzoagba Stars Club of Nigeria, a social club, who built a block of classrooms and Restrooms for Uzoagba Secondary School. Currently, there is a call from the President of Uzoagba Stars Mr.. Tony Ndu and HRH Duru Ngozi, for the government and community members of Uzoagba all over to rally and support the school to become an environment of learning. Wondering if something should be done in relation to the title and the name in the opening sentence, as they are not one in the same... Thoughts?
