Mascot[edit]

I believe the UDHS mascot is The Jester, not The Royal. Knippschild 04:51, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The mascot is the royal oak tree (originally) as seen in the upper darby school district crest, The 2005 senior class gift to the upper darby highschool was a lion's mascot outfit. The Jester is the name (or series of names) related to the upper darby robotics team built robots. Godloveslamb 05:52, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The mascot is a Royal. When I attended it was signified by a a Jester-like character that happened to look like the band guy Scott Litzenburg.

Update District URL[edit]

Would it be kosher to fix the link pointing to the district website? I'm the staff web-master for UDSD. We're trying to move everything over from udsd.k12.pa.us to upperdarbysd.org. While both domains go to the same server, the .ORG domain is considered more "proper" and someday official support of the k12.pa.us domain might be lost.Knippschild 16:56, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone have any opinion about changing it over? Knippschild 20:18, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Currently, the .org address redirects to the .us address. From my perspective, the time to change the link is when that situation is reversed. However, I'm not up on which domain is considered more "proper", so it's just my 2¢ worth. Rich Janis 02:52, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I can tell you, since I am the web master, that the .org domain is supposed to be the main one (where as the .k12.pa.us is supposed to be the redirect), except our ISP reversed the DNS. It should be changed, but I don't think it's the top of anyone's priorities to complain about it. Knippschild (talk) 17:37, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
