I suggest that Uplands (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) be merged into Upland (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), as most disambiguation pages deal with plural and singular forms, and there are not so many entries so that separate pages are needed. -- 65.94.171.126 (talk) 04:54, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

in Great Britain:

Upland = land lying above the limit of enclosed farmland. (generally 1,000 feet (± 300m) above sea level) Examples England: North York Moors, Exmoor, Dartmoor, Shropshire Hills,Pennines, Lake District, etc. But not Cotswolds. That is to low.
