statistics

The summary says that there's *10* faculty for the 10,000+ students. I find that hard to believe. Unfortunately, I cannot get to the web site for the school. Can anyone confirm or deny this remarkable figure? Chip Unicorn 21:40, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

The website was available. However, I could not find statistics for the number of faculty in this university. I used the phone directory at 'http://www.uz.ac.zw/phone/index2.php', and searched by title. If anyone can get a better set of statistics, that would be very good.Chipuni 22:14, 15 June 2006.

The number of professors recently changed due to promotion. Someone please check the number of lecturers and tutors. There are somewhat low. 41.220.30.125 09:04, 30 June 2006.

I have uploaded the univesity logo, but it's not appearing as one would expect. Maybe a better one can be found or my insertion was ?? Part 12:13, 30 June 2006.

I have put in a few pictures, and there are more that I have uploaded at commons, which can be incorporated once sections on teaching and research are written (I am currently doing that here. Early years

I would suggest that 1957 was a much more significant "starting-date" than 1952, because proper (London University BA and BSc) degree courses (probably?) did not commence until 1957, when the Mount Pleasant campus opened. Incidentally, there is still an active "Old Alumni" group operating today (with reunions taking place every four or five years), embracing people who were there between 1957 and about 1962 --DLMcN (talk) 20:29, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
