This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... (This is a wiki page for an institution of higher learning within Embu County, it seeks to share information about the institution to the whole world as such put it on the global map as an alternative institution for research that if focused on development of humanity) --Daddiesosore (talk) 05:10, 6 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Embu University College → University of Embu – As from Friday, 7 October 2016, this day marked the transition of the Institution from a Constituent College of UoN to a fully- fledged University. University of Embu was formally awarded a Charter by H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta at a colorful function held at State house, Nairobi. The new name is now University of Embu.
