Merge proposal[edit]

@DiplomatTesterMan: Most of the text of this article concerns the method of counting Covid-19 cases in India, and there are a few under undue/unrelated details such as 'overcounting' of the cases and 'Figures and estimates'.

Just like it has been done with all other countries, we should better merge this article to Statistics of the COVID-19 pandemic in India, which is basically empty since it has only charts and maps but lacks content. It would be a better fit for all content added on this article. शिव साहिल/Shiv Sahil (talk) 07:32, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

शिव साहिल/Shiv Sahil; I have made additions to the article since this merge proposal was posted. Do you still think that a merge is needed following these changes? DTM (talk) 10:05, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
शिव साहिल/Shiv Sahil; expanding Statistics of the COVID-19 pandemic in India is a good idea. But is a merge needed? Just asking again following the additions to this article as stated above. DTM (talk) 11:30, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • I agree with merging to the Statistics article. "Undercounting" in the article title implies that India is intentionally underestimated figures like China. That is clearly not the case. Another solution is to change the title to Undercounting of COVID-19 pandemic cases by country and dedicate a section to India along with other nations.
