Name[edit]

I believe her name is Tzufit, not Tzofit. Tzufit is Hebrew for honeyeater and a common Israeli name. If there's no objection, I will move the article. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 16:58, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I think you're right. Go ahead -- Nudve (talk) 17:06, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Tzufit is indeed a honeyeater, but in the list of female names in the Even Shoshan Dictionary there's only Tzofit. I also believe that it's pronounced this way on the Israeli radio and TV. I don't have a better explanation for that, but the dictionary should be convincing enough. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 21:47, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It does appear to say this Even Shoshan. I therefore withdraw my request. However, the spelling Tzufit should still be mentioned somewhere in the lead. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 21:59, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I vaguely recall an interview in which she said it's Tzufit. This is also how it's spelled in the IMDB (with Tzofit as an alternate). On the other hand, the British sources in the article spell Tzofit, so I guess It'll do. -- Nudve (talk) 04:32, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
IMDB and a discussion on the Hebrew talk page convinced me that it's Tzufit.
This blog discusses it. Blogspot blogs are usually a bad source, but this one is a pretty well-known blog about the Hebrew language. Correct me if i'm wrong. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 13:00, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Page needs an update[edit]

Her details of her husband are out of date. Can someone with knowledge update the entire article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.143.25.171 (talk) 00:18, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notabililty?[edit]

This article seems like a possible case of WP:BLP1E to me. Notability is not inherited from her husband; in order to be notable enough for a Wikipedia article, she should be the subject of significant coverage in her own right. It doesn't help that this article gives a pretty negative impression of her; are statements about drinking urine and bathing in chocolate really suitable for a Wikipedia biography? Robofish (talk) 20:11, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think there is any question pertaining to her notability. She has acted in at least two feature films, and hosted her own TV show. —Ynhockey (Talk) 05:04, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
