Advertising[edit]

"An off-the-beaten path discovery of the North Shore surrounded by blue waters, Turtle Bay Resort offers authentic Hawaiian experiences that are suitable for both romantic getaways and family travel."

Wow. What a nice advertisement for this resort.

Trying to recollect... Wasn't there supposed to be some kind of difference between a travel ad and an encyclopedic article? --93.212.233.169 (talk) 07:00, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah. This of course explains a few things. --93.212.233.169 (talk) 07:28, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Took the liberty of removing that advertising part that was added by the company itself in 2015 (see link above).
There is more left to do though, the article is still far from neutral. How about this for instance:

"... enhancing food and beverage operations, event staging and guest experiences."

Is there any encyclopedic meaning to sentences like these, or is that pure advertising blah? --93.212.233.169 (talk) 07:42, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
