But does the building turn?[edit]

It is not clear to me from the article whether the building as a whole has a motor and turns, whether the individual segments of the building are linked to a motor and turn, or whether the building, once constructed, does not turn. A turn is a rotation in time. A twist is a fixed (constant) turn. If I find out from other sources, I will return and edit the article and this note. I wrote in Swedish to Åke Johansson, press representative of Turning Torso, and his reply was as follows:

"It is right that the building is twisted, i.e. that there is a torsion (twist) between each cube. However, there is no motor that turns the cubes. It is a solid immobile building."

Nth tallest residential building[edit]

I'm deleting this part, because it's meaningless. It's the 45th tallest building in Europe overall and it's hard (and again, meaningless) to check which of them are residential and what does that even mean. Does 1 floor of apartment make building a residential building? Does it mean "mainly residential"? Then, I suppose, it's the second tallest after Triumph Palace. Does the residential space just need to be substantial? What is substantial? About 1/3? Then it's smaller than The Shard, Sky Tower or City of Capitals and I suppose some others. There's a few more that have some residential space. I don't see the point in checking how much, since the "substantial" part would be arbitrary. To illustrate further how meaningless it is - Turning Torso is smaller than Sky Tower, but it probably has apartments located higher (54th floor vs 48th floor). Probably, because there's no strict standard for a floor height. If someone wishes to go over the list of the highest buildings in Europe and check which of them have residential area and how many, then be may guest. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.10.227.127 (talk) 17:12, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
