Name Change[edit]

Suggest changing the article name to Turin Airport or Turin Caselle Airport or just Caselle Airport. The word international is neither in its name nor is it commonly used.

I agree that a change would be sensible (though I have reverted the cut and past move made recently). My vote would be for Turin Caselle Airport which would leave Turin Airport as a dab page between the city’s two airports. Ian Spackman (talk) 10:09, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Requested Move[edit]

Turin International AirportTurin Caselle Airport — The word "international" is not part of the airport's name. Move will correct a factual error. Jasepl (talk) 12:09, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support - the airport website generally refers to Turin Airport, or Caselle Airport. DB 103245 13:14, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
  • Support. - doesn't sound controversial at all, I'll do it now. - Trevor MacInnis contribs 20:55, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Turin Caselle AirportTurin Airport – This is official airport name from airport's website. Wind of freedom (talk) 00:16, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Don't move - The official airport's name,as per Italy's AIP (you can all find an older version here, if you're not registered here) and aviation charts, is Torino Caselle airport. --CeruttiPaolo (talk) 14:43, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Move - In official website is "Turin Airport", not "Turin Caselle Airport" --Wind of freedom (talk) 21:57, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Move - My bad, I didn't read the relative convention and its talk page. The current reference for the airport's name is the airport's website. --CeruttiPaolo (talk) 22:12, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
