Creation and sourcing[edit]

@Mathglot: sticking here as the article talk page is currently broken due to the move/delete/recreation saga. Re the citation needed tag in the lead, the only citations I could find for that are this case report from 2008 and this review from 2015. Though I may be misinterpreting the review as mucinous tubular carcinoma may be a different type of carcinoma? I'm not sure. Sideswipe9th (talk) 20:36, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I had trouble sourcing the non-breast references, other than to a few primary sources. Should we just delete that sentence? I removed the Talk page redirect, and recreated it with a Wikiproject link. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 20:41, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Per WP:MEDASSESS I'd definitely avoid the case report. I've not done an extensive search though to see if there's any subsequent reviews. As for the other, I just don't know enough to be sure if it is or is not the same type of carcinoma. In lieu of other folks chiming in here, I'd probably remove that sentence, and make a note on the talk page to see if others can find sources or confirm what we have above.
Feel free to copy my contributions from here to that talk page by the way. Probably makes sense to keep content discussions there. Sideswipe9th (talk) 20:48, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I just found one; interestingly, the very first PubMed result for "tubular carcinoma" was about the pancreas (although all the others are about the breast), so I added that one. I presume because it is entitled "an overview", that means it is not PRIMARY, correct? I still haven't found a secondary source to substantiate "kidney", so may need to delete that perhaps. Note: discussion above moved here from WT:MED#Tubular carcinoma. Adding Sideswipe9th. Mathglot (talk) 21:08, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

SandyGeorgia or Shibbolethink: this is my first new article subject to MEDRS; do you have a minute to review it? Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 21:16, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Sandy. Mathglot (talk) 22:43, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not comfortable with some of the sources used (breastcancer.org and P.I.N.K. Primer), but I see freely available sources are hard to come by. Hopefully, you can get hold of that book. Good luck! SandyGeorgia (Talk) 22:45, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I added your four sources to "Further reading", where they can be mined for good information and moved up to the body and used as a reference. Mathglot (talk) 05:50, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
