Use of :[edit]

Read the press release. It says Tron: Evolution not Tron Evolution. --SkyWalker (talk) 11:56, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That is an interperatation of a press release. The trailer does not support use of the : symbol, so this needs to be discussed before you continue to impose your opinion on an article title. Video game sites often add the extra :, just like film sites have added it to the movie, but still the most reliable source does ot use it. magnius (talk) 11:58, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Then we will wait for the official website. --SkyWalker (talk) 12:01, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

TRON Evolution: Battle Grids[edit]

TRON Evolution is being released for PC, XBOX360, and PS3 (and possibly PSP, I'm not sure). This game is NOT being released for Wii or DS.

The TRON game being released for Wii and DS is called TRON Evolution: Battle Grids, and sports an entirely different plot, timeframe, and developer (n-Space rather than Propaganda). I'm not going to rehearse the specifics here, but the differences are substantial enough that Wii and DS should be removed from the supported platforms, and a new article created for this entirely different game. Platform Differences[edit]

What Happypc mentioned above is only partially correct and there is another distinction that need to be made.

The Nintendo DS title is simply titled TRON: Evolution and it is a different game from both TRON Evolution: Battle Grids for the Wii and TRON: Evolution for the Xbox 360 / PlayStation 3 / Microsoft Windows. The main character and plot differ and chronologically, the game takes place earlier than the other titles.

The PSP title is also unique. You assume the role of yet another character and the plot takes place in between the events of TRON Evolution: Battle Grids for the Wii and TRON: Evolution for the Xbox 360 / PlayStation 3/ Microsoft Windows.

The official website for Tron: Evolution no longer depicts the timeline for all of the games but it is still present on Amazon.com.[1] 2601:7C0:8300:B16:F514:DA9C:AB00:2235 (talk) 19:26, 27 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
