Genre[edit]

Just to reiterate what I stated in my edit summary: “Trad rock” or any other variant with the word “trad” in it is not appropriate genre on Wikipedia. It’s not a real genre, and doesn’t convey any message to the reader. If you’re going to add a genre, you need to add real ones verified by third party reliable sources. Trad.Attack! Is a folk rock band[edit]

Why remove the reference to their style of music? Citation was provided by the user in the edit notes. There is no reason not to include it ZachFrost04 (talk) 03:28, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The band can make any claim they want for themselves. Wikipedia should have reliable, secondary sources, like album reviews or retrospectives of the band that make the claims. See WP:RS and WP:GWAR. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:50, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it is pure folk rock band. The style of music cannot be claimed it is or it is not. Each style is distinctive. Some times theres no style but music is experimental, trad.attack! is not that, it is pure folk rock. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.131.12.104 (talk) 21:03, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe, but we need a reliable source to support the claim. Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:36, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
