Early life[edit]

Wolfe was born December 27, 1960 in Plainfield, New Jersey She grew up in Richmond, Virginia, where she began her modeling career after completing her first year in college.[citation needed]

Career[edit]

Wolfe was discovered by agents in a department store where she worked as a clerk. After a while in Washington DC, she moved to New York City, where she was contracted by the modeling agency Wilhelmina Models. Her agents also sent her to various auditions. She made her first notable appearance in film and television in 1986 in an episode of the US television series The Cosby Show, after which she wanted to continue her education and learned improvisational theater and acting technology.[citation needed]

Soon afterwards she was directed by Richard Donner in the film Lethal Weapon.[citation needed]

She was reportedly still active for Wilhelmina as a model in New York and Los Angeles while filming the third part of the Lethal Weapon series.[citation needed]
