Discussion[edit]

Didn't this person also spend a couple years on MAD TV? Correct me if I'm wrong.-WikiMommy

Hey... I don't understand the reason for your reverting my revisions ... I think that they were all appropriate, but many were not even at all controversial .... Let me know your thoughts ....

--Epeefleche 00:19, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is stated in the article that Tracee is the daughter of Diana Ross and Robert Ellis Silberstein. It's no secret that Diana Ross is a black woman and that Robert Silberstein is Jewish, thus making the blatant reminder that Tracee herself is a black and Jewish a bit redundant and insulting to peoples intelligence. "Tracee Ellis Ross (born Tracee Joy Silberstein on October 29, 1972, in Los Angeles, California) is an American Black half-Jewish actress." sounds a bit gaudy and convoluted. Simply pointing out that she is an American actress is fine. — DtownG 03:03, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whether it is a secret that Robert Silberstein is Jewish misses the point. Not everyone whose father is Jewish is Jewish. With most people, in fact, that is not the case, as Judaism follows the mother not the father, other than if people convert or follow the Reform approach to the issue. Plus, if you check the bios of all the other Jewish actors and actresses, you will see that this is the common approach on Wikipedia. So I think that your above statement as to redundancy and insult to people's intelligence is misplaced. Consequently, I am reverting it.--Epeefleche 22:34, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Excuse me Epeefleche, but there was nothing wrong with my edits. Yet it was you who came and reveresed them. You seem to have control issues. - 152.163.100.201 04:58, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I reverted his edits back to your version. He, however, continues to troll the article with his redundant and pointless revisions. DtownG 05:05, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the material, confused by DtownG's constant reverts, has been put back in. The chart is especially very well done. Please let us know about anything else that has been lost in the confusion of the constant reverts, that is important, so that it can be put back in as well. Thanks. --Epeefleche 05:38, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Cover girlfriends.jpg[edit]

Image:Cover girlfriends.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:17, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Macarena music video[edit]

According to this, she was in the 1996 music video for the Los Del Rio hit Macarena ("as well as a then unknown Tracee Ellis Ross"). Possibly no source though. I think that's relevant to mention as part of her career. -- Katana (talk) 18:00, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Pattern Beauty[edit]

Does she really own Pattern Beauty? I reviewed the LLC registration information and her name is not mentioned anywhere? [1] Ronjohn talk contribs‎ 22:07, 27 September 2020
