I could not look at the source above, but Encyclopaedia Iranica also gives it start date as 1923. So there should be some modification, --Egeymi (talk) 07:03, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of lede summary, further reading, and commons link[edit]

I wanted to further discuss why the lede was edited and content removed (see below)? It summarized the points re: the magazine history. I would like a discussion here. PigeonChickenFish (talk) "The journal went through three phases: from 1923 until 1939, under founding editor Hossein Tawfiq the magazine was more nationalistic; from 1941 until 1953, under the son Mohammad Ali Tawfiq the magazine was more politically and government-critical; and later versions of the magazine under Tawfiq brothers Hassan, Hoseyn and Abbas, they focused on pure satire."^[1]
