This is a strong biography of a rising director. It uses a wide range of sources and covers his earlier career well, where there is often a dearth of information. The article has a history of reliable editing, of particular note is its recognition of the dates of award, allowing that table to be updated when necessary. There are two images, a portrait for the lead and one of him at work further down, both are freely licensed. There does not appear to be any original research or bias in the article. My only concern is that theprose is a little flat at times, it can read like a list converted hastily to full sentences. In the future I would like to see more description and analysis of his growth as a director, and of his particular style as that emerges. Nevertheless, this is a strong, well organised article, properly verified and I congratulate the nominator for all his hard work.
