Size of Tepco[edit]

I am sure that TEPCO is not the fourth largest electric power company in the world. The article should be updated.79.10.112.216 (talk) 16:09, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Name?[edit]

Why is this article titled "The Tokyo Electric Power Company", rather than just the "Tokyo Electric Power Company"?

Water Canons (on the way?)[edit]

Ownership (significant equity packages)?[edit]

Who owns TEPCO? Inquiring minds want to know. 212.188.109.138 (talk) 12:20, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comparison with 3 Mile Island[edit]

What's this rubbish about being 'bigger than 3 mile island' without anything but alarmist and highly speculative reference? There have been NO REACTOR EXPLOSIONS. The explosions have occurred around the reactor; not as part of it. There is little to no radiation; it's the kind of radiation you'd get from opening a microwave or CD-player 10 minutes after use. Talk about alarmism. i'm deleting this nonsense until an investigation and credible reports have surfaced -after the plant is contained or after it has actually blown up. 119.161.71.12 (talk) 09:42, 18 March 2011 (UTC)M0F02000[reply]

Indeed; rephrased some days ago... L.tak (talk) 10:42, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Warning To vandal[edit]

Total rubbish, it is officially level 5 as serious as 3MI and food is now contaminated. Do not cover up these facts and stop vandalising! This is insult to the workers risking their lives to cool the plant, the facts are cited and justified in this entry.

It's not vandalism: there has been no breach of the reactor itself. Explain that without hyperbole, please? And tell me -why is that they are re-starting one of the reactors to produce electricty at Fukushima I if the explosion was a so-called nuclear disaster. Your references tro media speculation do nothing to support the flaw of your argument. YOU are the vandal, thank-you very much. Not I.119.161.71.12 (talk) 09:45, 20 March 2011 (UTC)M0F0[reply]
Where is the evidence to substantiate the claim that one of the Fukushima I reactors is to be re-started? You both need to stick to the cold facts and provide citations for your claims. 94.116.12.116 (talk) 20:51, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

'Thermal' plant list[edit]

Is there a reason that the 'thermal' plant list is not titled 'fossil fuel'? It looks like all the plants there are fossil fuel plants; and the 'thermal' title is unnecessarily vague (both nuclear & geothermal facilities fall under the thermal heading, but are naturally listed separately)

Anyone have an objection to changing that title? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.175.27.219 (talk) 15:05, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dated language[edit]

The language in the opening paragraph of this page seems to be written looking forward from 2012. It seems that some of the open questions may well have been answered since, and the summary should be updated to reflect these. 141.92.129.43 (talk) 11:24, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
