This Article Really Necessary?[edit]

I know that this article may have been created to expand more on the subject, but this practice is already described in New York City Subway. Unless there are greater ramifications for this practice of "token sucking," as in more examples, are there any objections to a deletion of this article? -Herenthere (Talk) 23:58, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It does seem a little narrow in scope. I'd have no problem with the deletion, though the info could also possibly go into an article about tokens or crime. Jason McHuff 10:40, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There is no article on coin on a string, I don't see how this warrants an article either. --Voidvector (talk) 12:29, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rename?[edit]

I'm thinking of moving this article to Fare evasion in the New York City transit system (or something similar), and expanding it to include all manner of fare cheats, including various MetroCard scams. There are a few existing articles which could possibly include this information, such as Fare evasion, or even Crime in New York City, but none of them are quite right, and this seems like a large enough topic to deserve an article of it's own. Possibly the entire Metro_Card#Fraud_and_scams section could be moved here. Comments? -- RoySmith (talk) 15:36, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
