change tense?[edit]

"Additional works were undertaken after a fire in the site's visitor centre in 2012, which damaged part of the 19th century outbuildings on the abbey's grounds." reads like it was the additional works responsible for the damage on the 19th century buildings. Should it not be "which had damaged part of the 19th century outbuildings on the abbey's grounds."?A.-K. D. (talk) 12:38, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
