Plagiarism?[edit]

Most of this article appears in Some Historic Houses of Worcester (1919), found on Google books here. This source is listed as a reference, but it's not made at all clear that this article is largely c&p. I have no idea of Wikipedia's policy on this point - can anyone help? Thanks. There was a massive cut and paste dump by User:Jewel Worcester between February and June 2015. It seems to originate from that source and others some of which may be copyright. It's too big and difficult to untangle, and the text is inappropriate for a modern reader in any case, the whole thing needs to be rewritten in modern language. Plus there is a lot of material that isn't inappropriate. I'm restoring the previous version to free the article up so someone can create original content instead of copy-pasting. -- GreenC 03:34, 5 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Soldier?[edit]

The article title mentions him as a soldier, and I don't think that--given the scope of information on his life within the article--he c=should be characterized as that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Schuddeboomw (talkcontribs) 13:27, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
