Article Size[edit]

I have noticed that the article size is increasing exponentially, and that the timeline is getting repetitive. I have three suggestions about this:

Convert the timeline into statistics
Condense the timeline
Split the timeline by year.

Since this article is still extremely long, I will ping @Onetwothreeip and Nicholas Velasquez: here in order to continue this discussion since the former is experienced with splits and the latter seems to be the primary contributor to this article. I suggest splitting this article by year: Timeline of the COVID-19 pandemic in Belarus (2020) and Timeline of the COVID-19 pandemic in Belarus (2021). Thanks for the ping, haven't noticed the discussion. I've also been thinking about the size of the article, and splitting by year does seem like the only option, because the source links and some of the early non-repetitive detailed material, like regional statistics, have to be preserved. Not the prettiest solution, but I can't think of anything else. Sadly, these COVID-19 articles have become a trap from the maintenance standpoint. -- Nicholas Velasquez (talk) 07:53, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
