Etymon[edit]

Where does the etymon "station" come from? As far as I know, the most widespread etymon is "lioness", feminine of a Berber name ahar / ar meaning "lion" (the masculine name is possibly to be found in the town name of Wahran, (French Oran). --Vermondo 11:29, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
