Etymon[edit]

Where does the etymon "station" come from? As far as I know, the most widespread etymon is "lioness", feminine of a Berber name ahar / ar meaning "lion" (the masculine name is possibly to be found in the town name of Wahran, (French Oran). --Vermondo 11:29, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

@Alas2022: The issue of Tamazight has been discussed at length on the Algeria article's talk page. I suggest you read those discussions to understand why using a language that is yet to be codified is bad idea. M.Bitton (talk) 19:59, 21 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
