Overall: @Kingoflettuce: Good article. I'm going to propose a modification of the hook Alt0a "... that according to the "Tiandi yinyang jiaohuan dalefu" heterosexual sex is the "ultimate human pleasure"? in case the hook seems too long. Also approving in good faith because of offline sources. Onegreatjoke (talk) 18:35, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Onegreatjoke Thanks, although I think the hook loses some "bite" if the title is not immediately translated for the casual reader (to whom the words "Tiandi..." would most likely read like gibberish). Kingoflettuce (talk) 21:41, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Kingoflettuce and Onegreatjoke: given that the essay's thesis statement there is rather well-accepted (I do personally prefer a nice garlic bread), is it possible to find a hook that doesn't just rely on being about sex for interestingness? Maybe: theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 07:43, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm cool with either, though the alts are even longer! Cheers, Kingoflettuce (talk) 09:36, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
My theory is that anyone who's getting through "Poetic Essay of the Great Bliss of the Sexual Union of Heaven and Earth and Yin and Yang" (and let's be honest, that's gonna be a good many readers) is probably hooked in, at least until the full 200 characters. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 10:06, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
