Dad's Army[edit]

A recent BBC show suggests that Walters turned down the role of Captain Mainwairing in Dad's Army. Any RS for this? Tigerboy1966 17:43, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mentioned in Graham McCann's excellent book on the series, although the book reckons that Lowe was always ~~Croft~~Perry's first choice for the part. I'll add something to the article in due course. --Bcp67 (talk) 19:16, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
