Requesting help to develop this page[edit]

I am requesting help from those who would have an interest to make this page more appropriate. Tom Oakland was not notable because of his murder, however that is presently the focus of this page. He was notable because of his professional accomplishments and contributions to the field of educational psychology. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doakland (talkcontribs) 01:11, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Doakland. As I have explained to you before, the problem is that you are replacing the page into some sort of memorial for him. It is absolutely okay for you to add his accomplishments, but adding nearly 1,000 bytes of just one-liners about his life is not productive towards developing this page. They should be full, complete sentences (eg. Oakland was named the Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology for the University of Texas at Austin in 1967 not "Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology (1967-72)". This is not a resume) with reliable sources and written in a neutral tone. Seeing as you have a conflict of interest, I suggest you use the WP:Sandbox to edit until it is ready to be proposed on this page using WP:Edit requests. Oh, and please only use one account.
