Illustration[edit]

Can someone add an illustration? There is a nice example on Albanian wikipedia ([1]), but I am afraid that I don't know how to go about putting it on this page. 45ossington (talk) 21:11, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing it out. I transfered that particular image to the commons and now is used in this article too. Cheers. — Kedaditalk 23:28, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Theth/Thethi[edit]

If Thethi is the proper Albanian name, perhaps we should put the entire contents of the page under "Thethi" and simply redirect from "Theth" to "Thethi". Any views? 45ossington (talk) 00:00, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually the article name is correct in the Albanian language; Thethi is the definite form for Theth. Cheers. — Kedaditalk 00:03, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I studied Latin and Ancient Greek grammar for more years than I care to remember, but modern Albanian makes them both look simple! Many thanks for the correction.45ossington (talk) 00:09, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
In Albanian WP seems that the article is incorrectly named as Thethi; the quality of articles in the Albanian WP is very poor and mistakes like that are pretty common. Cheers. — Kedaditalk 00:25, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I went to Albania this summer and visited the village this article is about. I brought two guidebooks with me on the trip. One was Bradt Albania 3rd Edition and the author of that book called the village Thethi. The other guidebook was Lonely Planet Western Balkans and the author of the Albania chapter calls the village Theth. I clearly remember locals calling the village Thethi and that is enough for be to disagree with the current naming of this article and with LPWB. If the locals call the village Thethi then so should I. Renaming the article is the only thing that makes sense to me, but then I am anything but a scholar on the subject Akedahllof (talk) 08:40, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In Albanian language there's a definite and indefinite form of all names, thus Theth applies to this rule as well; indefinite form: Theth, definite form: Thethi.

Also can you or somebody else change the rate of this article, since it is not a Stub-Class on the project's quality scale anymore, it should be at least Start-Class.Empathictrust (talk) 13:48, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
