The one in Norway was relocated in its place several times, whereas the one in Wiener Neustadt has constantly existed as a military academy (or NCO school during WWII) since 1752, only being closed between its destruction in 1945 and 1959. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.83.252.26 (talk) 16:46, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, the term 'military academy' refers to an educational and training facility where soldiers or NCO's are turned into officers. The Norwegian academy was an education facility teaching mathematics for people who were already officers, and it only turned into an officers' school in 1804. Contrary to that, the academy in Wiener Neustadt has been a place for officer training since 1752.

Finally, if you want to take into consideration the example of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in fact foundet in 1741, I have to point out the fact that the original Royal Military Academy, Woolwich was closed in 1939, only to be reopened - in a new location - as the Sandhurst academy in 1947. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.83.252.26 (talk) 17:15, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
