Hi my name is Thato, i live in tembisa. Firstly i would like to comment on the service we get at the electricity department. It's like the people don't want to work and don't care about the customers needs. Sometimes the staff is not even at work, u'll find that there's only one person working at the tellers and the ques are very long. I really don't know who's the manager there cause right now, he not doing a good job. When u query about something it takes about a week for them to fix the problem which it was their problem at first. We don't even know how they calculate the rates and taxes but u get a bill that has a rediculous amount every now and then. Something should be done fast, either the staff must get trained properly or new people must be employed with good manner, and patiece and they must also be willing to work.

Regards,

Thato

service_ delivery[edit]

Fistly the pipul who are working there are not right suitable to work there.we need pipul who understands the community at large. Our location is rich young students who are willingly so to work, not becouse of money but who can vollonter to do community tasks There I suggest that opportunity must be given to such student.

I personaly can vollunteer, simply becouse that I understand the community needs and Im currently doing my second year in PUBLIC MANAGEMENT.Therefor I send my availabity once more

bursaries for deserving learners[edit]

i have come to conclusion that most schools in tembisa are not noticed.some learners work hard to earn the best possible marks but even when they are accepted at universities they still use NSFAS to continue with their stidies which is not fair.i am taliking from experiencing and using NSFAS to further your studies is not tyhe best thing ever especially when you think about the amount of money and the % you have to pay on of top that money,it is really not fair honestly,so help learners in tembisa with bursaries.

Largest in not Af or En name[edit]

Just to try and make sure this figure is correct, I thought Khayalitsha or Thoyandhou would maybe be bigger? What about Polokwane/Mdanstane or Mangaung? Just an idea? I just want maybe some official stats? Bezuidenhout (talk) 22:19, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

According to the 2001 census, the largest (in terms of population) populated place with a name that's not from English or Afrikaans is Umlazi. Tembisa comes third, after Umlazi and Katlehong; Khayelitsha is fourth. I would definitely remove the claim from the article, unless some other source is provided. - htonl (talk) 22:56, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you read the article again, you will see that it states the second largest in Gauteng following Soweto, Not in South Africa as a whole, so your observation is misguided. Read the article properly.

The comments above yours were posted more than a year ago, and they refer to a statement that was in the article then but is not in it now. - htonl (talk) 19:49, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
