Reopening 2009[edit]

Can I just ask where did the information for The World's reopening in 2009 come from?, because there is nothing on the internet to support this Wikipedia claim and also nowhere on the WWE's website does it state it. http://corporate.wwe.com/news/releases_2009.jsp - 2009 Corporate News. Name change to "The World" - possible error[edit]

This article claims that the name change occurred in 2003 due to the transition from WWF to WWE; however, two music web pages show the name "The World" being used as early as October 2001:

The nightclub/theater venue within the complex was referred to as "The World." After the WWF changed its name, the "World" name was used for the whole establishment. --Jtalledo (talk) 17:58, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
