No cover should be uploaded until the digital version is known

There are currently four physical version covers. Why the one image showing IU's face was chosen out of these two and the Tweety Bird one I don't know. As I said in my revert summary, the article can do without visual accompaniment for 11 more days. Myself or another editor will upload the digital cover when it becomes available—we should not be choosing one random physical cover in the meantime when we don't need it and it will just end up being replaced (and deleted as an additional non-free media file that is not discussed critically per WP:NFCC) when the digital cover used across all platforms becomes available. Per this reasoning, @J04n: Please do not reinstate the random physical cover you have chosen. I've also stated, per past interactions with experienced editors regarding this matter, that what is around the actual cover in an image should not be cropped out—the actual image you upload should be virtually identical to what is available at the website you post in the source= parameter for the image.
