I removed the reference to Nightbird's eggs "containing various weapons". This is never stated in the film, rather she says simply that she can lay eggs. --Wtbe7560 26 November 2006 16:58

Yes they do. Watch it again, at the end, after Weevill is on TV. Cheeser1 22:33, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's fairly obvious that The Strobe was only saying that to make Nightbird feel better in front of the other members. Nightbird only told The Weevil that she could lay eggs, The Strobe didn't find out until everyone else did. MrDenton (talk) 04:04, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No - Nightbird confirm's The Strobe when she nods in agreement. The Strobe had seen her powers demonstrated in a video she submitted. FYI, I also cleaned up references in the article to Eight's gender (he was specifically designated as "He" when Nightbird tried to refer to him as a "them." And there is nothing in the movie, mentioned or implied, that Deadly Girl and Minute Man are best friends, so in the interest of accuracy, those references have been removed. Finally, the repeated references to Power Chick as an "openly lesbian" woman have been removed. Being openly gay isn't a super power, she only mentions it twice during one scene in the film, and no one makes a big deal about it (except Amok, who's just pissed he isn't getting any). If someone can come up with a better adjective for her personality, please use it. Snicker|¥°| 03:38, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Thespecialsmovie.jpg[edit]

Image:Thespecialsmovie.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
