Was this removal wise?[edit]

This user Melanie-d'HH (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) made this removal [1]. That was the oly edit by that user. Concretely, the user was created at 02:55, and the removal was made at 03:19 of the same day. I undid it, and merged the text the user added --Enric Naval (talk) 11:17, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

references[edit]

All of the "references" seem to link to a single webpage designed to earn money for someone. --JWSchmidt (talk) 20:23, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

These have now been fully revised and factual corrections added where required. Hope this improves the article. Peter morrell 07:43, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Great. Now they link to different webpages, each designed to earn money for someone. The only exception is the archive.org link.LeadSongDog come howl 16:53, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The problem is that all the convenient free copies on the web seem to be of this kind. There are some more archive.org versions. Someone could analyse which editions exist there; it's complicated because for the English editions of the Organon two years are relevant, and usually only one is given. (Some of the different German editions of the Organon are very different, with different numbering, and must not be confused.) Then after a lot of work perhaps we can get rid of half of the commercial links. Hans Adler 17:42, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It would seem that this would be an excellent task for either Project Gutenberg or for Wikisource. Ultimately, a side-by-side presentation of the "Organon der rationellen Heilkunde" and its English translation would be worth considering.LeadSongDog come howl 18:58, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, it seems someone must have gotten the message: PMC 3016660. LeadSongDog come howl! 20:48, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: no consensus, though there wasn't really much discussion. Deacon of Pndapetzim (Talk) 13:09, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Organon of the Healing ArtThe Organon of Medicine — Organon of the Healing Art is the old name and Organon of Medicine is the new name, and as it is known today. NOT '''Hyphenated-Mizo''' (talk) 16:40, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This should be a fairly routine application of established principles. wp:WikiProject Books lists guidance on the matter, the most relevant of which seems to be Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_(books). We should use the first published English-language edition's title rather than some arbitrary later edition title or even the latest edition's title.
