Lovecraft[edit]

I noticed that Lovecraft is listed as one of the authors of this movie. Which Lovecraft story is this inspired by? I've never seen it. -Elizabennet 20:59, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tagline[edit]

The IMDB lists the tagline as "Beware the demon forces of the blood beasts", which is wonderful. But where does this come from? The poster in the article has a different tagline; the VHS videotape has "Can anyone survive the demented marauding zombies", [1] the Italian posters I can find have nothing, the interminable trailer on Youtube has tonnes of gore but no tagline. There are only four Google hits for the IMDB's information, even allowing for the odd punctuation, of which three are just copies of the IMDB. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 00:00, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just had the misfortune to sit through 1hr 40 min of this garbage. It truly is a poor film, with an almost bizarre randomness to the story. Like the father who just doesn't seem to care about the house or the noises and the baby sitter who seems to not mind/question cleaning up the huge blood stain on the kitchen floor (if she knew about the zombie in the basement, she there sacrifices her self willing to the creature? If she doesn't, then the previous scenes when she actually seems to help the monster are just stupid).

Therefore this article needs some critical reaction because despite the attempts to ban it for the gore and violence, it is in fact a work of great crapness which doesn't deserve the credit it gets. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.171.18.183 (talk) 21:27, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I like the movie, the dreamlike atmosphere, the shocks etc. However, I see that it is definitly not for everyone and I cannot say that your critisism is invalid. I also wonder why some plot parts are so random and contradictory.
