Copyright Violation?[edit]

This is borderline copyright infringement of http://www.miaca.org/english/list/028/info.html This article was previously deleted for being a copyright infringement of that same page, Dec. 26 [1]. Dennis Brown (talk) 14:41, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove the copyright tag on the page until the problem has been fixed or you have at least discussed WHY it shouldn't be there. Dennis Brown (talk) 14:56, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

External links[edit]

Please do not place links to youtube videos (these aren't official channels) and to the websites of individual members in the external links. The external links should only be about the band, and should be to reliable sources or bonified primary sources. Dennis Brown (talk) 14:46, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Can't find the books cited as references[edit]

These two books are cited as reference, but I can't find them anywhere. Can someone please provide an ISBN or at least some kind of link to demonstrate they exist? Otherwise, there is no way to verify the content.

  • Hasegawa, Hitomi, The Group 1965—Shining Under the Spotlight, Kunsthalle Dusseldorf/ Japan Foundation , Silvana Editoriale, 2010, Dusseldorf .
  • KATAOKA Mami, THE GROUP 1965 —Long-lasting. Decentralist. Lax Kunsthalle Dusseldorf/ Japan Foundation, Silvana Editoriale, 2010, Dusseldorf.

I have only found one book on Amazon by Katoaka and it isnt' published yet, and it isn't this book, and nothing related to this group on Google. I can't find anything by Hasegawa, Hitomi on Amazon and only a few on Google books that may not be the same person. The cites are improper to begin with (making it very hard to search them) but if it can't be demonstrated that they exist, that they are REAL, then they can't be used. • This page is starting to wear me out....and please do not add the same book with the full text for multiple references. I did it the proper way, by naming the references, then just calling the named references. Please do not remove that formatting, it IS the proper way to use what is already an improper citation. This also means when and if the citation gets fixed to a proper ISBN, you only have to change the one entry, not every one on the page. Dennis Brown (talk) 15:46, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because <Details, links and text will be up soon. Most of material are in Japanese, will need time to translate it but i will try my best to fix all concerns. Please don't delete this article because they are VERY FAMOUS and has a relevant importance inside of Japanese contemporary art working with many medias: painting, photo, installation, performance. Major museuns in Japan collect your member artists art works.Information about cited reference text/book edited by Japan Fundation and Kunsthalle Dusseldorf, published in Italy :http://www.kunsthalle-duesseldorf.de/index.php?id=243&product=the-group-1965>. — 66.108.82.154 (talk) 02:19, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • It would be very helpful, again, if you could provide the ISBN numbers for these books that are you are using for references. I've been trying to get you to communicate, to save the article, but it is difficult when you refuse. I didn't put it up for deletion, and agree it needs to stay and be fixed, but if you don't participate here on the talk page, it is very difficult to insure that happens. Repeatedly adding speedy delete tag[edit]

I notice that User:Msruzicka has tagged this twice for speedy. DGG removed it once, I removed it the other time. The article has problems and I've certainly been vocal on those problems, but the article isn't speedy delete material. There are some issues with the sourcing, but it may be that most sources will be in Japanese, not English. Regardless, there is enough of a claim of notability here that CSD:A7 doesn't apply. Take it to AFD if you feel that strong about it. Dennis Brown (talk) 01:01, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
