First significant documentary criticising AGW?[edit]

JQ, can you document your assertion on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Global warming conspiracy theory - that this is "The first significant documentary criticising AGW"? If so - then it might be notable for this reason. Otherwise i'd say its a documentary, with limited (if any) notability. --Kim D. Petersen 17:03, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's a bit hard to document a negative, and of course Google is not reliable when you go back this far - maybe there is some more specific database that would be helpful. But it's the earliest I could find, and it's unlikely that any others could predate it by much, given that the issue only really started getting policy attention around 1988. We could safely say "One of the earliest instances of the claim ...", I'm sure. JQ 00:57, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I dont think that JQ's last suggestion would need documentation. --Childhood's End 15:22, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Views about it[edit]

I've been able to findsome books that discuss the broadcast in some detail they seem to be all supporting the conspiracy theorists. I'd feel happier about sticking a couple in if only I could find one decent article discussing it in any detail from the mainstream side. Anyone know of anything like that?
