"Buttocks"[edit]

Reverting a revert of a comment by 71.248.175.236, which appears to have been yanked for using the word "buttocks". The original edit is correct, having been an explicit joke made in the first aired episode. Certainly the joke was juvenile, but it was aired and does change the shooting of Longworth from something serious ("shot by his captain") to something traditionally used as a common joke on television. Topping, it's also a play on the "million dollar wound" (cf: "Forrest Gump" and others), typically used to effect a setting change for a character, in this case one who did receive millions as a result.

The joke is certainly relevant to the setting, and the removal seems more related to the word than the actual entry. Zooks527 (talk) 16:13, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cast and character section[edit]

Not that I'm calling for a "List of The Glades characters" article, this section is a wee bit descriptive. Most series articles aren't. Can we not say:

  • Matt Passmore as Det. Jim Longworth, a homicide detective from Chicago who moves to the (fictional) resort town of Palm Glade, Florida and joins the local bureau of the FDLE
  • Kiele Sanchez as Callie Cargill, a thirty-something divorced mother and registered nurse.
  • Carlos Gómez as Dr. Carlos Sanchez, Longworth's friend, colleague, and forensic pathologist in the crime lab.
  • Jordan Wall as Daniel Green, a grad student at Tampa Tech who gets an internship working for Carlos in the medical examiner's office.
  • Michelle Hurd as Colleen Manus, the regional director for the FDLE.
  • Uriah Shelton as Jeff Cargill, Callie's 13-year-old son.

Just a suggestion. — WylieCoyote (talk) 22:49, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
