Devorah is the 90's Dance project that covered the song; it isn't the name of a person so the paragraph must be corrected in "In 1996 the Devorah project covered...". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.239.118.90 (talk) 12:44, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How did it get that name?
There is no indication why the song was called "The Drugs Don't Work"
I presume it is because of his mental health problems and that he found that "The Drugs Don't Work". Is this too obvious to be the real reason? --Aspro 18:39, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is a great song. Careful analysis of the lyrics reveals that the song is written from the perspective of someone who is love with person who has a mental illness. The drugs in question seem to be prescription psychiatric drugs and not the illegal variety. LearningKnight 22:43, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A lot of people have said that this is actually a song about his father dying from cancer and the drugs are the chemotherapy he received. No idea how to prove this, so I'm just leaving it in here, thought it should be somewhere though. - 13:29 22 November 2006 (Shabs)

Um[edit]

What is meant by this piece "and is also thought to be influenced by his relationship with his wife" where it is written in the article? Does anyone know what the influence his wife had on this song? Fancyfootwork 14:49, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:The Drugs Don't Work.jpg[edit]

Image:The Drugs Don't Work.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
