"Official website" - dead. --Tpyvvikky (talk) 15:44, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Attitude towards Israel[edit]

The article should perhaps mention whether the paper has taken a critical attitude towards Israel in the Mideast conflict, or whether it has refrained from making related political or ideological criticisms. ADM (talk) 00:09, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why?[edit]

Why this article does not contain enough reference, and why there is no related notice on it? ThanksEgeymi (talk) 14:55, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Still active (?)[edit]

Although the article mentions that The Daily Star "completely closed on 31 October 2021", the website (https://dailystar.com.lb/) appears to be active nonetheless, with new articles getting published. Notably, the title of the website has changed from "The Daily Star" to "Dailystar", and there is no information about the owners in the "About Us" or "Contact" section. Could it be that the site was acquired by another online news provider? --15000 Röntgen (talk) 09:23, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The last Tweet published by @DailyStarLeb was on 2021-10-13 and is about the (at the time) temporary suspending of their website the article mentions. In my opinion, this solidifies the hypothesis that their website was acquired by some other online news provider, maybe only for use as sort of a "mirror" for their news. --09:23, 11 May 2024 (UTC) 15000 Röntgen (talk) 09:23, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
