ITN[edit]

@The Rambling Man Perhaps this should be raised again at ITN given the growing international coverage. Whizz40 (talk) 20:15, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As a result of the pure ignorance and pro-Americanism here, I'm not allowed, nor inclined, to get involved with this, so sorry. Still, a brilliant result for Cambridge and two excellent races. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 20:51, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@The Rambling Man: bah, it was a dark day all around if you ask me... Still, I suppose it's good for a small polytechnic such as yours to have something to celebrate 🤔😉  — Amakuru (talk) 15:54, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • I just took a look with a view to nominating it at ITN. On the one hand, there was the additional fuss about E. coli. But, on the other, we don't seem to have a picture yet. I might have attended and taken one myself but had a family commitment. There some good ones on Flickr such as this but all rights are reserved. Andrew🐉(talk) 09:12, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    • Support. It will be hard to get The Boat Race added back to ITN/R, because many other notable amateur sporting events are not listed there, but that doesn't prevent it being nominated each year for ITN and thus included on the main page. Moreover, the quality of the article can be recognised later with Good or Featured status through those processes. So everything can still be achieved. Whizz40 (talk) 11:06, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
