Notability[edit]

Contesting speedy deletion: I've already added two references from the Oregonian, the "traditional" Portland newspaper, which seems to at least minimally satisfy the "significant coverage in reliable sources independent of the subject" guidelines. According to one of those references the magazine has been publishing regularly since 1993, which makes it more than a "flash in the pan", which seems to take care of the "... vs verifiable evidence" question. I'll add more links when I have time, but Bear Deluxe is a pretty venerable institution in the northwest US, it's distributed across the US and Canada, and its fiction award has been judged by Katherine Dunn and Jonathan Raymond, both of whom are indisputably notable authors who each have their own Wikipedia article. I think you need to do better than proving the magazine exists, you need to demonstrate notability. I'll give you some time to improve the article, and will consider listing for deletion discussion. As it stands, there is no 'signficant coverage' and no evidience of any notability (how about readership, circulation, notable editors / authors).
