Sneak peek on January 15[edit]

We'll need to see how this plays out since January 15 could basically just be the official premiere and they're just advertising it as such for viewers. Austin & Ally had a "preview" on December 2, 2011, a Friday, with the official premiere being December 4, 2011, a Sunday, its regular episode premieres day. See this discussion for some details on the matter of sneak peeks/previews: Talk:List of Austin & Ally episodes#Season premiere. In short, a sneak peek/preview is usually the official series premiere and they're only labeling it that because they're usually not on their regular day and to garner huge viewership. In Austin & Ally's case, they wanted to garner a lot of viewers since it was following the Good Luck Charlie, It's Christmas! television film premiere.

Now I said usually. When it comes to series premieres that have a double-length episode as the first episode, in some, but not all, cases, like with I Am Frankie, they will air the first half of that episode on one date—the sneak peek—and then show the full episode on another date—the official premiere. @Amaury: I would suggest that this is another case where we will need to use a "note", to indicate the "sneak peak" on Jan. 15 (as part of "Toon in for Danger"), and the "official" premiere on Fri., Jan. 19. FWIW. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 01:02, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@IJBall: Friday's broadcast and cable finals will be out on time Monday afternoon, but I just thought of something. How are we going to deal with that? Ratings have to match an air date. Henry Danger was shown as taking one hour in TV guides and satellite/cable guides themselves, such as DirecTV, and as can be seen here Archived 2018-01-18 at the Wayback Machine, the ratings are also for one hour of Henry Danger. Then notice that there's no listing for The Adventures of Kid Danger. The first half of Henry Danger was Henry Danger while the second half was The Adventures of Kid Danger. This is different from Andi Mack that same day which showed as one hour in the aforementioned guides, but had two separate ratings: One for Andi Mack and one for the Andi Mack cast party: "Disney Channel Cast Party."
There are only three things I can think of doing: 1) Simply include the ratings for Henry Danger January 15 here as well and then add a similar note to Hunter Street. 2) Separate the tables, having one for the sneak peek and one for the actual season a la I Am Frankie, with the sneak peek section having the Henry Danger January 15 ratings. 3) Separate the tables, having one for the sneak peek and one for the actual season a la I Am Frankie, but have have no and remove the Viewers column. Options #2 and #3 are essentially the same, but slightly different. Option #3 probably makes the most sense here, in my opinion. In other words, this is virtually identical to the I Am Frankie situation, except that the sneak peek was the whole first episode instead of half of it and it was part of another airing instead of its own airing. I vote for some form of Option #1. Honestly, this is complicated enough, esp. between Jan. 15 vs. Jan. 19 airings, that I think it will need to be written up as several sentences of prose in a prospective 'Ratings' section at this article. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 21:37, 20 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Amaury: Does this recent edit include the simulcast ratings?... (Note: The series was simulcast on both Jan. 15 and Jan. 19, AFAICT.) @IJBall: First, I realized I didn't answer your question above. No, that edit did not include them, but they are in that link, hence my reply. Is the show canceled[edit]

Cancelation[edit]

We really don't know if the animated series is cancelled. We don't have any proof. The could just continue the Schneider Bakery but without Dan Schneider himself. Or Dan may not be making new stuff. LPCDDude (talk) 22:26, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Episode number[edit]

So this show should have 10 22-minute episodes or 20 11-minute segments. However this does not match up to what the episode guide states. Zapit a source we have used here begs to differ that there are 10 episodes. The last 2 episodes didn't premiere in full, but are combined on zapit. How are Spongebob episodes handled with this issue or is this just incorrect? Can this be changed. What happened with is here? Magical Golden Whip (talk) 00:18, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

See The Futon Critic source. Basically, twenty 11-minute segments were made/produced, but they were not broadcast as simply "ten episodes" – several of the segments were paired with repeat segments when aired. But, on Wikipedia, we follow broadcast order, not the production stuff – this is why prod. codes are generally included as well.
