Our trip in May 2001[edit]
Just some memories of our wonderful trip to Terracina and Rome in 2001.This was our second trip to Italy. The first was Venice in 1992.We has no real agenda but to see Rome and rest.We traveled down the Appian way and landed in Terracina.We stumbled on the La Palma pension across from the beach.$40 Euros a night . visited the vegetable market..spermercado..jogged up the mountain to the temple of giove..twice..ate lemons from the trees..Took a day trip to pompei..via Gaeta..where we ate lunch with a humorous group of business men who kept us there 2 hours!Our hotel owner Roberto arranged for us a great deal in Rome $60 a night..we stopped back in 2009 on the way to Sorento...We been to Europe 24 times.This was one of the best..oh yes..the fishing port was also beautiful!! 98.230.141.35 (talk) 16:48, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
