Rinzai or Soto[edit]

I may be nuts, but the article says that Tenryū-ji is a Rinzai temple, while the webpage says that "Sasagawa Kosen Roshi, the present Abbot of Tenryu-ji since 1979 [...] underwent formal training at Eihei-ji" and studied at Komazawa University. This does not exactly sound as Rinzai... Joshua Jonathan (talk) 14:09, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Rinzai or Soto[edit]

Hi. There are some temples named Tenryu-ji in Japan. Tenryu-ji of this article in Saga, Kyoto is a Rinzai Temple. Sasagawa Roshi's Tenryu-ji in Eiheiji Town, Fukui is a Soto temple. Shaku Jomyo (talk) 15:46, 29 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
