guy number1 -Removed the Naruto rubbish. Tenchu came out before the anime.

guy number2 -Kakashi's appearance and certain aspects of his personality are inspired by Rikimaru, its been discussed all around tenchu forums and naruto forums. I honestly dont know why you deleted that part of the trivia based on the fact that tenchu came before naruto. It did not imply otherwise.

Correction[edit]

How did Rikimaru get his scar was it Tatsumaru or Onikage that scarred him and in tenchu time of the assasins his left eye is closed

It was Tatsumaru who gave Rikimaru the scar on his left eye.

No, it was Lady Kagami who gave Rikimaru the scar over his eye.

Name Meanings[edit]

This section seems superfluous and more a lesson in Chinese characters than being anything relevant to the game. Considering that very little effort has been made with the names beyond nonsensical direct translation (i.e. "Tajima Eigorou (田島　英五朗) = Rice Field Island, Excel fifth cheerful boy"), this section should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.122.198.124 (talk) 06:37, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't disagree more. If the inclusion of so many translations bothers you this much, perhaps you should attempt to edit the article to make it flow more smoothly. But Rikimaru is a character who has appeared in many video games and he has a rich history; therefore I think that he deserves his own page.

Merge proposal for character articles[edit]

I support the merge proposal for Rikimaru. This article doesn't meet the wikipedia general notability guideline that the topic is covered in reliable sources independent of the subject. I encourage someone to follow through on the merge proposal. Randomran (talk) 03:34, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

IMWO, I think it'd be 'ALOT' better if the characters section be moved to a List of Tenchu characters article. Rikimaru and Ayame's visual appearance are repeatedly mentioned everywhere in the articles. Also, the Tenchu:WoH article is somewhat out-universe because the character section expands to almost all through the series, like mentioning Tenchu Z and other.--JCD ^(Talk) 04:27, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of "Petition for a new tenchu game"[edit]

I am not really sure how relevant a fan petition is to an encyclopedia article on a franchise, it is not informational and the section reads as an advertisement to sign the petition instead of simply stating facts of its existence (which alone would likely qualify for removal due to a low amount of relevance to the article).
