Some feedback[edit]

Hey thanks for putting the article up for assessment. I was wondering if you could add an Overview section that describes the premise of the show, some background as to how it came about. Also a Reception section for the manga and the anime. The anime must have done well in order to warrant multiple seasons? As for the long infobox, the main series can be combined into one entry. The episode list can be pushed to a new article page since it has like 4+ seasons and the spinoff series. Characters section can be referenced to the official site. Same with the episode titles; you can put the reference to the official website's Story page in the episode's header. The manga list can stay on the main page until that gets big enough to spin to a new article. A minimum listing for the manga as with Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun would be great. Thank you for your response! I didn't realize there was still so much to do! Here I am, thinking I did pretty well. Alright, I will get right onto implementing some of your suggestions! (Funny thing is I actually have the information on hand to implement the manga list like in the article you linked, but I didn't think it was worth putting here (due to WP:TOOMUCH). I will go ahead and add it in!) JaykeBird (talk) 22:18, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
So as to give myself (and perhaps others) some ideas as to what things I still have to do for this article, I will list them here:
* Expand character list - Debating how to handle this
* Move episode list to another article - Done!
* Get more information on Takamiya Nasuno Desu! - Done!
* Add references to official anime website - depends upon what I do with character list stuff
* Try to find more information about the popularity of the manga - found only unreliable information
I will be getting to these things as soon as I can! I just think it would motivate me a bit more to have this list written down somewhere. JaykeBird (talk) 02:15, 21 July 2015 (UTC) (updated 11:13, 24 August 2015 (UTC))[reply]
See and use my to-do list please (others are free to edit this section if they do things)! JaykeBird (talk) 00:18, 27 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Assessed. Two sentence paragraphs, table with single item, short paragraph section, no reception. Does not pass B3. The prose seems weak at points as well. Voice actors not voiced. Still fails B1. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 23:50, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the feedback, @DragonZero. I have created a to-do list to track progress. However, could you be a bit more specific about the "short paragraph section" and "prose seems weak" parts, and also clarify why "table with single item" is an issue, please? JaykeBird (talk) 00:18, 27 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The article has sub sections with little text. Better to merge it to bigger part. Prose seems weak means there are issues with the prose, either grammar or lack of clarity. You don't need a table if there's only one item there. I can let that last one slide if it's an ongoing series. You can look at GAs for ideas on how to structure an article prose wise. Thank you for this clarification. It really helps out a lot. JaykeBird (talk) 20:56, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting episode list to new article[edit]

Greetings! I'm not the one to make the suggestion, but as I've been working on this article a lot so far this month, I thought I may as well comment on it.

I had already gotten the suggestion to split this into another article, and I was planning to do so, so I definitely have no qualms with the suggestion lol. Unless someone else gets to it before I do, I'll do it myself before the end of the month. Cheers! JaykeBird (talk) 19:43, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I still would think having the airtimes of the different seasons on the main article somewhere would be nice (not necessarily in infobox, the infobox definitely looks better with all seasons combined into one article (although I would've wished the template would've allowed us to write the airing dates for each season there)).
I'd probably leave a paragraph in the Anime section talking about when each season aired, along with another paragraph explaining the anime runs in a general sense (like most anime articles where the episode list is in a separate article), while moving all details off into the separate article. (Please see my sandbox for what I'm talking about; I'm worried I'm not articulating myself the best.) JaykeBird (talk) 21:46, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't hesitate on something like this, the series is long and has multiple seasons, would definitely benefit from a split. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 22:11, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Knowledgekid87: I will be doing this very soon. I have the sandbox page set up and will be transferring over information. JaykeBird (talk) 08:13, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The page is User:JaykeBird/teekyu-episodes. I do welcome other users to contribute their edits while I myself also work on improving the page before submitting it as a new article. JaykeBird (talk) 09:10, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for my disappearance. Vacation, other things, et cetera. I was hoping that I would be getting that new article set up earlier than now, but that has not yet been the case. I will be trying to see what I can do over the weekend. Thank you for your patience (if, indeed, anyone really is waiting on me to complete this). JaykeBird (talk) 07:59, 8 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have finished writing the article. You can find it here: List of Teekyu episodes. I will now replace the section in the main article with a link to the new article! JaykeBird (talk) 09:37, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reception section[edit]

I'm having an extremely difficult time finding any information that I can find for a reception section. Absolutely no articles on either the Japanese or English side that I have found have talked about any sort of popularity it has received. Even the Japanese Wikipedia, which you'd expect to have something, doesn't have a section titled "Reception" or anything similar for its article. Anything that I can find is simply based upon speculation or original research and certainly isn't reliable.

My next attempt will be to use the Wayback Machine to see if the Blu-Rays ever appeared on the Oricon rankings, but I don't have much confidence in finding anything. JaykeBird (talk) 16:07, 27 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Are there reviews by some of the usuals (ANN, Fandom post, About.com) concerning the series? AngusWOOF (barksniff) 16:09, 27 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Here's one: [1] AngusWOOF (barksniff) 16:10, 27 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't even think of that! Oh my goodness, thank you so much @AngusWOOF! I was feeling quite a bit stressed out over this, that definitely helps! JaykeBird (talk) 00:54, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
