I suggest this article is deleted, not least because it says little more than the reference to it in List_of_humorous_units_of_measurement#Tatum_grid. Ben Finn (talk) 22:35, 2 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

The two sources here are both MIT theses, one a Masters from 1993 and one a PhD from 2005. Is there any mention of the term in any independently published book or peer-reviewed journal? or even in any reputable newspaper of magazine article? The Art Tatum article says it's "in common usage in the field of computational musicology", so shouldn't be too hard to find? Martinevans123 (talk) 21:45, 1 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

please explain in English[edit]

This minimal stub of tech-speak is almost impossible to understand.-71.174.175.150 (talk) 19:48, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If the explanation can't be made comprehensible, I advocate for this article's removal. I even read several passages of the thesis without coming away with clearer language. The author seems to be drawing out some kind of esoteric perceptual distinction. — MaxEnt 23:55, 11 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
