I feel parts of the article are written like an advertisement. Can anyone do anything about this? 68.117.22.123 (talk) 21:04, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

Why "Tara(Drina)"? I does not make much sense to me. Since "Tara River" redirects to a disambiguation page, maybe Tara(Montenegro) is a suitable alternative, although not whole river is in Montenegrin territory. Any other suggestions? Sideshow Bob 11:42, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article Tara (Drina) should renamed in Tara (river), a article Tara River (Russia) in Tara (river in Russia). ..There and a river with the same name in Italy (article about her will be called Tara (river in Italy) — see: Tara#Rivers).
This article should be called only Tara (river) because river runs through two states (Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina) and because what river passes through the largest canyon (Tara River Canyon) in Europe which is was named after her -- MilanKovacevic (talk) 18:38, 12 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'd remove part about planned dam building[edit]

Six years have passed since 2006 and there isn't any trace of dam building on Tara yet, and, God help us, it will remain so.--82.117.199.26 (talk) 15:03, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'd remove thе part stating that "The Tara River cuts the Tara River Canyon, the longest canyon in Montenegro and Europe and second longest in the world after Grand Canyon"[edit]

It's simply not true. First of all, Grand Canyon is not the longest in the world, but even if we accept that it is, there are several other canyons that are longer than the Tara canyon - Capertee Valley – Australia, Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon – Tibet and Fish River Canyon – Namibia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by IvoBrasil (talkcontribs) 14:01, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
